PBA pros every summer. Glow bowling every weekend. Car shows in the parking lot. Sixty-five years in, this is still where Modesto shows up.
Most bowling centers never see a PBA tournament. Yosemite Lanes hosts one every year — and for two decades, the Vanessa Brown Homes Pro-Am has put everyday bowlers on the pair with touring pros.
The format is 9-pin no-tap singles, so every skill level has a real shot — leave nine, it counts as a strike. League regulars, first-timers, kids, grandparents: the Pro-Am is the friendliest big deal in Central Valley bowling, and 2026 marks its twentieth year.
Pro-Am squads fill fast — call the front counter at 209-524-9161 and we’ll get you on a squad.
Some houses wait for holidays. Ours keeps a standing calendar — same nights, same faces, week after week, and room for you in it.

Weekday afternoons in the lounge: half-price drinks and $2.00 off draft pints. Roll a few frames while you’re at it — day-rate games run all afternoon.
On weekend nights the lounge turns up — live music, a full bar, and the kind of crowd that’s been coming here for decades. One regular’s review says it best: “Love the live band karaoke every 4th Friday!”
Nineteen leagues a week: Veterans on Monday mornings, Pin Pals for the kids, the Morning Belles on Wednesdays, scratch Majors on Fridays — and Thursday’s Gallo Industrial league, straight from Modesto’s own E&J Gallo.
Two hours of Extreme Bowl glow bowling, shoes included, twenty bucks a head. Bring the whole crew on Friday or Saturday night — the lanes handle the atmosphere.

Sixty-five years of league nights, birthday candles, and chrome in the parking lot.
We opened in 1961 — one year before the summer American Graffiti made famous, in the hometown George Lucas grew up cruising. Modesto never let go of that era: every June, Graffiti Summer fills the city with classic cars, and Yosemite Blvd is still cruising country.
Our corner of it stays busy year-round. The parking lot is home to local car meets and shows, and the front doors have been open every day, 8 AM to 2 AM, through it all.
Inside, the week belongs to Modesto: veterans and seniors in the mornings, kids after school, ladies’ leagues, a Mexican American league, scratch bowlers on Friday nights, and a company league from E&J Gallo — this town’s flagship employer — every Thursday.
New events and flyers post first on our Facebook page — that’s where Pro-Am results and tournament sign-ups land.

Birthdays, team nights, community group days, car club meet-ups — if it fits in the building or the parking lot, we’ve probably hosted it.
Party packages start at $190 and include two hours of bowling, shoes for ten, and a party host who actually hosts — one family’s review tells of staff putting the birthday kid’s photo up on the lane screen. Tori Hackett plans every detail; book two or more weeks ahead.
