The House Story

Modesto's living room, sixty-five years running.

Since 1961, Yosemite Lanes has been an iconic venue for the great citizens of the Central Valley — rolling strikes, devouring food, and enjoying car shows right out in the lot. Sixty-five years later, the recipe hasn't changed: keep the doors open every day from 8 AM to 2 AM, post the prices on the wall, and know your regulars by name.

In bowling, "the house" is the alley. Around here, it means a little more than that. It's where the 209 celebrates birthdays, settles league bragging rights, and orders one more round of fries before the last frame. Grandparents who bowled here bring grandkids who bowl here now.

That's not marketing. That's mileage.

Meet the House

The house crew.

Sixty-five years doesn't happen by accident. It happens because the folks running the place treat it like their living room — and treat you like a guest in it.
